Portable Art Project

My favorite jewelry designers right now are making pieces that fall somewhere between jewelry and sculpture. So I was super excited to read about “Portable Art”, an exhibition that just opened at Hauser & Wirth of jewelry pieces commissioned by 15 artists. Featuring wearable objects by major artists like Louise Bourgeois, John Baldessari, and Pipilotti Rist, the show pushes the boundaries between fashion and art in the best way possible. I’ll definitely be making a trip uptown to see the show very soon!
