Wear, Share, Love

8 years ago by

I’ve always had a soft spot for Doc Martens. I love that they give a rough edge to every outfit.

I also remember that when we were 20, my best friend Anne and I started ourselves a little collection of them. We were roommates, and we would share them cause we were the same size. We had all the colors and shapes. Even the ones with the metal cap toe.

Not too long ago, I was reminiscing about our college years with Anne, and we got to talking about the Doc Martens. And here’s what she says to me,

“You know what I realised ? I’ve never been the same size as you ! But it was so great to share with you that I ended up convincing myself I was a 40. I am actually a 39, I would even say a 38 and a half !!! We were really crazy.”

Aaaaaah my dear Anne. Crazy girl. I love you !
