Aaaaaaah Victoire de Castellane! I love everything she makes!

For years she’s had fun with fine jewelry, playing with its shape, its structure, its color, its sublimity, and all the while making my imagination soar. Just my imagination though, of course, because her jewelry is so precious that just looking at it makes me weak in the knees.
So many of her pieces have been bought by collectors to put behind glass, never to be worn, only admired, and I totally get it: They are true pieces of art.

Of course, she’s made some “ready-to-wear” best sellers, like the Oui ring, the Mimioui, and the Bois de Rose that needs no introduction.

But it’s her Incroyables that I love the most.
Okay, I’ll stop with my yapping. I’ll leave you with some of my favorite pieces from her new collection, and a few shots of her studio in Paris where I had the honor of having a cup of coffee the other day.

Oh, and I forgot to say this because it seems so obvious. Victoire is kindness and humor embodied. But I think that comes across in her work, don’t you think?
