This week, I’ll show you some photos from my vacation in Corsica.
No no no no, don’t leave! It won’t be just amazing landscapes and goat streestyle (though there may be some) there will also be a lot of fashion, beauty, and a even a little bit of food. But some amazing landscapes, too.
Because Corsica is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Okay, so maybe I’m a little biased.
I was born there. I grew up there and my family still lives there. My first years of school were taught all in Corsican (thank you Madame Quastana). I get tears in my eyes when I hear Corsica songs (I tried to make Scott understand by putting Dio Vi Salve Regina on in the car and belting it at the top of my lungs with my mother – I’m not sure if he got it or not) and you can’t imagine how much I jump for joy whenever I get the idea to return to my native village, Girolata.
My heart melts whenever I see the steep red cliffs of Scandola. I want all my guests to try every Corsican specialty at the risk of stuffing them to the point of sickness. I think the ocean always is the perfect temperature. I think even the cows in Corsica are super classy. I also think it’s normal to wait 5 hours to get gas so that the two guys chatting away in front of it can finish their conversation and only then can you go fill up.
Yeah, I’m so in love with my wild native island, beautiful and defiant. I better hush up because all this gushing does get annoying real quick.
Okay so here are some photos.
… filled with love and beauty and leisure.
Okay okay, I’ll be quiet.
