For a Rainy Day

As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers – and you certainly couldn’t get through all that rain without a good raincoat! Each time I put on my own water repelling layer, I can’t help but think I look nowhere near as put together as Selby, who has impeccable taste and the innate ability to keep looks simple but still interesting.

I’m pretty sure everyone knows by now, I moved to Los AngelesVenice to be precise, and my life now looks nothing like what it was in New York. The weather is always beautiful, I spend my life on my bike, I go to the beach when I need to recharge, and I work from home, which means I can organize my days however I like, more or less, and I tend to work in cafes a lot.

But of course, there’s no such thing as a perfect life. Working remotely is just about as stressful as working in the studio. The time difference makes things a little complicated. And moving also means finding a house and, in the meantime, living (in our case) in a bungalow that’s super charming but tiny, so it’s definitely testing the limits of our relationship and how much clothing we can keep in storage until it’s finally time to unpack our boxes.

Would You?

If you could change your face or your body and become perfectly beautiful, and you were young enough for it to affect your whole life, would you do it?

I’ve already asked myself this question, of course.

A Beauty Minute with Britt Maren

Morning: I have sensitive skin, so I prefer to use brands that use clean, simple, and high-quality ingredients. I usually just rinse my face with water in the morning instead of using a cleanser. Then I use Osmia...
