A Beauty Minute with Nike

Morning: I start with cleansing my skin after the night with Paula’s Choice skin balancing cleanser. Then I use the Cosmetic Skin Solution vitamin C + E serum with hyaluronic acid, it really boosts my skin in the morning. After 10 minutes I put on moisturizer from Zelens followed by Exuviance Sheer Daily Protector SPF 50. It’s a light tinted SPF that also protects your skin from environmental damage.

I like the “no make up make up look” which requires a really good base. My makeup routine starts with a primer and the Candleglow Soft Luminous foundation from Laura Mercier. I follow up the base with a concealer from Bobbi Brown. I use a highlighter stick from the organic brand W3ll People and a bronzer from RMS Beauty. Everyday I wear the Aqua Cream Eyeshadow from Make Up Forever in the color Steel, I’ve been a fan of it for years.

If I’m in a hurry or am having a good skin day that doesn’t need so much cover up I only wear Bobbi Brown BB cream, it’s the best one I’ve ever tried.

I wash my hair twice a week, I have found my favorite hair care brand which is an organic one called Briogeo, I use the line for curly hair and it defines my curls in the best way so I don’t need styling products after. Once a week I also use their Don’t Despair, Repair hair mask, which is amazing. I have really dry skin on my body so it’s important to me to exfoliate with a sugar or salt scrub and always moisturize after showering with almond oil.

Day: I don’t touch up my make up during the day but I like to refresh my face with a mist, my favorite right now is the Panacea Elixir from Yüli, also a great organic skin care brand. I’m weak for Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream for lips so that one is always in my bag.

Night: Cleansing is my big routine during the evening, I would never go to bed with my makeup on regardless how late or early in the morning I got home.

I remove eye makeup with the classic Bioderma micellar water. For my first cleanse I use the Paula’s Choice skin balancing cleanser to remove all makeup in the face, sunscreen and dirt, Then for my second deeper cleanse I dry my face and put on Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel which I remove with a wet towel.

For my last step I use Paula’s Choice skin balancing toner and I promise there is still dirt left on that pad, the city is hard on your skin! My latest obsession is a Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant from Paula’s Choice, it unclogs pores and makes your skin tone more even.

It’s important to me what ingredients I use on my skin since I’m a bit sensitive so I often like to go for organic brands. My latest find is Aurelia probiotic skincare, I use her Revitalise & Glow Serum which I follow up with the Cell Repair Night Oil. It smells and feels yummy. Once a week I do an exfoliate, detox and hydration mask. Before I have a night out I like to put on a sheet mask for that extra glowy skin, I buy Korean ones really cheap on eBay.

  • I love this beauty minute and the mix of products from Laura Mercier to W3ll People makeup and Elizabeth Arden to YÜLI. My beauty staples are a mix as well with my trust Lancome serums next to my organic YÜLI oils so I totally am feeling this.
